Default DDR Timing Setting Help

I am using SuperNOVA JP, and I realized how bad the timing is for me... I am on an LCD, but I have NO idea how to change the timing correctly, do I set it negative or positive? Thanks for any help you could give

If you are playing DDR SuperNOVA for Japan, it is much better to set the timeing to -6 to -4 because setting the timing to its default setting can lead to a late timing. So I suggest that you use -6 to -4 timing. You may also try timings from -3 to 01 and check which fits you better and it is much better if you are playing DDR SuperNOVA 2 on your PS2 (in any region) because you are able to test the timing that you have set.

Wouldn't you want to set the timing to +4 instead of -4 to make it late? The lag in the LCD would display the arrows later, therefore making you step late.

Well, it depends on the screen that you are having on our TV. I've already talked to other guys about this and they said they had nevr set the timing to a later interval. They really preferred timing intervals of -5 to -2...

I don't think you quite get the timing. If you set it to -4, the arrows will show up 4 milliseconds (or whatever) earlier. So, arrows 4ms early, TV 4ms late, it comes out perfect.
