NEW RELEASE DATE: FEBRUARY 27, 2007

Discussion for the brand-new Xbox 360 DDR game.

-New Modes (i.e. "Super Easy", "Relay")
-Xbox Live Support (online play, downloadable songs)
-Difficulties: Beginner, Basic, Difficult, Expert, Oni
-Widescreen resolution
-Most likely a lot of features from Ultramixes will carry over (4-players playing at once, for example)

And is this version going to have PS2/Arcade timing???

Well, the most obvious difference is the consoles. :\

But I expect there will be different songs, some new/different modes, and possibly a higher frame rate.

Well I mean newer steps, like new Challenge steps or something.

Plus that song by Mondo Grosso (I think Shake Ya Body) should be in this Ultramix. It's sounds like an Ultramix song, so why not put it in there.

No cross-licensing allowed for licenses that haven't showed up here yet in the U.S. That means if Saints Go Marching shows up on Ultramix 4, any titles present or future on the 360, Xbox, or PS2 cannot get it.

I wonder how difficult the backward compatability must be to program to get the old UMixes to work with a 360.

If Konami cared enough, they could program in a software patch themselves and put it on the UM4 discs for the XBox to make it compatable with the 360 upon release. I understand why they won't ($$$, why make UM4 compatable when they can sell the songs on UM4 as add-on packs through Live, and visa versa), but it would be a nice gesture.

With the core system they aren't. Only 360 games. The premium $400.00 one you are able to play old XBox games.
