-The surface seems to look like rubber, and it is more difficult to slip on the pads then previous cabinets.
-The pads appear to be sensitive. Even if you tip-toe on the pad, it still responds.
EDIT:
Haha, Konami wtf? Max 300 doubles Heavy apparently is a 12.

It's really a big crap here in the Philippines because of the "SuperOLD" DDR machines that I still see such as the 2nd Mix in the mall near to my home and also until DDR Extereme (but I haven't played this yet...)

The interface looks nice, lol Happy Sky inspired? xD I noticed the input buttons on the machine are UP, DOWN, CENTER, LEFT, and RIGHT....I wonder what UP and DOWN would be used for; maybe to aid n00bs on the Select Options screen for maybe if they accidentally chose a wrong option, they could simply press UP to go back up instead of the traditional LEFT+RIGHT+CENTER to correct a mistake.

IIRC, up and down are used to select the song, and left and right are used to switch sort modes. I don't remember anything about the select options screen.

If they're going to add anything to a DDR cabinet, why not add some fans? I'd much rather have those bars blowing air on me than shinning blue LEDs at my eyes while I play DDR.

At least it's not Queen from DDR Universe....or IS IT?
As for Zero...someone on the Konami DDR team watches too much Deathnote.
::EDIT::
He kinda looks like the character in the Unreal video...
