Guys look at it like this. They are getting rid of 3 mix old songs. Those songs are already on EX. And if we DO get a chance to play X are we really gonna go back and play Groove?? We are gonna play the new songs,we can easily just go back to EX/SN/SN2 and play those songs. I'm sure there are going to be more EX/SN/SN2 than X's so there really isn't a point to the whining
Not necessarily Groove specifically, but there is a point where you end up going back to the older songs. Sure, you're not going to play them in your first five rounds on the new machine. But a few months from now? Why not?
Anyways, I'm pretty bummed about the removed songs, but I'm really hoping they're making room for new content and a truckload of Hottest Party/Furu Furu Party + Universe content. But, come on, Look to the Sky? Why?
Groove is a bad song, so no one would really want to play that.
MATSURI JAPAN on the other hand is what people would like to play for its fun chart with its enjoyable gallops and streams.
So with a new mix RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU you would play a song that you have been playing for years? That seems kinda stupid

The songs I'd like to play in X are boss songs, sadly, so I'd have to use the older songs instead of the boring, new ones to go to the Extra Stage, etc.
Also, I was referring to players in general in my previous post-- the hardcore DDRers in particular.

Groove and Groove 2001 actually have really fun doubles charts, so I would definitely go back and play them. I think it's good to keep some of the old school songs, so you'll at least have something familiar to play if the alot of new songs are disappointing.
Hm, "Funsize Twix", do NOT forget that, for example, having an Extreme outside of Japan is tecnically ILLEGAL, so yeah, having songs that we were not supposed to be able to play for all of this time... deleted, it's outrageous
I really don't understand this random removal of songs. They're not costing Konami anything, and there's no memory constraints. Doesn't DDR want to boast about how many songs are available?

I suppose you could ask the same of IIDX and other bemani games. The BeForU songs are probably understandable, but there are some pretty random cuts here.
