btw- I'm real sorry if this is an annoying question, I just haven't been real in touch with the bemani world lately.

Has there been any mention of when the X AC US will be released? just curious!

Looks like all the BeForU-related songs got removed...Though some of the other removed songs are weird (Mahou no Tobira? Crash!? Look To The Sky?? BALALAIKA?!!). Could it be that they choose the least popular songs?

The survival of e-motion shoots down that theory. Or, it should, some people still play that awful song.

I kind of like it. One of the 1st DDR songs I ever played.

My point is, I think they took away the least popular songs i.e songs that hardly anyone played.

Then again, for some reason, Silent Hill & Secret Rendez-vous are still on....

I have a feeling some of these songs will come back in future games. I mean, just look at the jump from 5th to 6th mix, to 7th mix, in terms of revivals.

Also, is there a pic of the Koko Soko banner anywhere???

LEAST POPULAR SONGS????? Do you not understand that everyone that goes to my arcade whores BeForU songs? That goes for LTTS and DIR too!

Remember, Konami can no longer can use any BeForU-related songs. We've known this for awhile (plus the fact that all the BeForU-related songs have been removed from IIDX).

But I don't know why some of the better songs (like Look To The Sky) got removed....I have no idea what Konami's process is for choosing which songs (that they own) get removed.

They probably could, but the question is, can they afford it? I guess now that Konami no longer manages BeForU, they need to pay licensing fees to keep BeForU tracks in. I don't know if this is true, but it might be a likely explanation, considering BeForU songs are really popular.

They kept Chikara if I'm correct, and True...

But BeForU songs are some of the most played in DDR... I mean, look at Love Shine or Honey Punch. Those are some of the most popular DDR songs out there.

I'm curious as to why they kept True... though. I remember in the DDR Max US manual, NAoki says something [iirc] that True... was one of his favorite DDR songs, so maybe he kept it in for that reason

New to DDR X songs have the characters doing a pre-set dance, like in the Hottest Party games. Old songs show the characters dancing randomly, like in SN and SN2.

I liked how the stages were preset to songs (US X)& I'm like the idea of dances being preset to songs so they don't feel out of place. Perhaps we'll see this in the next US release?

No wonder why I kept on playing that remix of Slip Out in the same stage all the time. I didn't know that lol
