The cabinet looks sleek, but it seemed Konami took a cue from Andamiro or something because of the widescreen thing. Isn't today's machines getting widescreen with 1080p support nowadays?

QFT I learned that the hard way at a con I went to. Me and my buddy entered a Halo 3 2v2 tournament on wide screen LCD monitors. The results weren't pretty ): and I can imagine the impact it would have on a game like DDR. But they solved that on IIDX cabinets right? I've never had a chance to play on one.
By the way, can anyone tell me if PARANOiA ~Respect~ was on SuperNOVA 2?

The MAX songs have long been surrpassed interms of difficulty and honestly, it took me longer to pass MAX 300 than it did for LoM (about a Month for max and week for LoM) so yes they are in the same ballpark. CSFILSM is around the level of bag since CSFILSM is a stamina drainer and bag is a gimmick. If Chaos Expert was a 14 then you have reason toa rgue that Konami is messing up the ratings, but for now the 14 and lower ratings just show the difference between an easy one and a hard one.
My one gripe is that Saga is a 12. If anything I think it should be a 13 at least since it's a bit tricky.
SHOCK ARROWS
Stepping on shock arrows will cause damage to lifebar, break combo and will cause momentary stealth. Shock arrows are displayed as white arrows with a lightning effect around it. Avoiding the shock arrows will give OK, but stepping on one will give NG.
Songs with shock arrows have an icon shown during MUSIC SELECT. When you select a song with shock arrows, the SHOCK ARROW help message is displayed.
So it looks like you can still have your foot on the panel when the shock arrow comes. Yay.

I don't think so, I think it would be quite easy to differentiate between a normal arrow and a plain white arrow... easier than ITG mines even.
