X-Special Conditions

DDR 1stMIX
Play at least one 1stMIX song on any difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE on any difficulty.

DDR 2ndMIX
Play one or two 2ndMIX songs on any difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE. Playing two will increase chances of PARANOiA MAX(DIRTY MIX) appearing via RANDOM later.
Get dance level AA on PARANOiA MAX(DIRTY MIX) on any difficulty selected by RANDOM on FINAL STAGE.
After clearing EXTRA STAGE, selecting RANDOM will allow you to play PARANOiA MAX~DIRTY MIX~in roulette(X-Special) instead of PARANOiA MAX~DIRTY MIX~(X-Special).

DDR 3rdMIX
Highlight a 3rdMIX song you would like to play and enter the 3rdMIX SSR code (←←←→→→←→) on the panels. Play the song on EXPERT difficulty and get dance level AA.
Get dance level AA on a red song at FINAL STAGE on EXPERT difficulty only.

DDR 4thMIX
Select YUNI or JENNY as your character.
Play at least one 4thMIX song on any difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE on any difficulty.

DDR 5thMIX
Get dance level AA on any Xmix song on any difficulty.

DDRMAX
Play at least one DDRMAX song on EXPERT difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a red song at FINAL STAGE on EXPERT difficulty with modifiers x1.5 and REVERSE, additional modifiers are allowed.

DDRMAX2
Play at least one DDRMAX2 or DDR SuperNOVA2 CHALLENGE song on CHALLENGE difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE on any difficulty.

DDR EXTREME
The FINAL STAGE condition is as follows: Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE.
Depending on the number of songs per play the machine is set to, you must play these songs in this order before FINAL STAGE as well as getting dance level AA on every one of them:

3 songs per credit:
MAX 300 (EXPERT) → MAXX UNLIMITED (EXPERT) → FINAL STAGE condition
MAX 300 (EXPERT) → Any Xmix (EXPERT)

4 songs per credit:
MAX 300 (EXPERT) → MAXX UNLIMITED (EXPERT) → SAKURA (EXPERT) → FINAL STAGE condition
MAX 300 (EXPERT) → MAXX UNLIMITED (EXPERT) → Any Xmix (EXPERT) unconfirmed

5 songs per credit:
MAX 300 (EXPERT) → MAXX UNLIMITED (EXPERT) → SAKURA (EXPERT) → The legend of MAX (EXPERT) → FINAL STAGE condition

i just saw a video earlier today of a couple of guys in britain getting unlimited x special on a machine in local mode, but they said it had been patched.

OK, the 2nd Mix code does not work. I AA'ed both 2nd MIX songs on Expert, did a Random on my 3rd Stage, ended up with Volcano, still AA'ed it, and didn't get anything on my Extra Stage except Saber Wing. Tried Random again, got Afronova from nonstop megamix. AA'ed the entire set, got squat.

The 3rd MIX code is also incorrect. We're thinking maybe to do the SSR code on the machine select arrows, not the panel arrows because when we used the panel arrows, it didn't work. I tried a couple methods (including doing the code on the panel arrows in the Option screen), one of them worked, not sure which but it wasn't what was posted above.

1st, 4th, and 7th codes worked fine.

For 6th Mix, trying to do On The Break on 1.5x reverse turned out to be a little hard. Will try again tomorrow.

They shut the machine off right when Sword AA'ed X-Mix 1 (bogus) so we didn't see if 5th Mix worked =/

About the 2ndmix unlock method. That's the hardest one to get.

The Random should choose Paranoia MAX -Dirty Mix- to access its X-Special.

if it weren't for the terrible ddr x machines, i'd be up for trying out the extreme code next time i'm out. that actually looks really fun to me for some reason.

Uh, that isn't it, you have to get Paranoia MAX on Random on Random.

So yeah it requires some lick but apparently playing 2 2nd mix songs helps increase the chances.

I know, but after a couple more tries, either I'm really unlucky or there's something else. Also, I still haven't gotten regular dirty mix X-Special either as it may imply, tried several times using Random and OTB, nothing. Tried AA'ing a Challenge song on Random and the game ended on Final Stage instead of going to Extra Stage (even with OTB available). Odd.

Got the 5th Mix one to work, kinda fun until the ending.

You can get the Extra Stage by playing on Standard on your Final Stage, and when you get the X-Special, it'll be on Challenge.

Still trying to figure out how the 3rd Mix one works, I think the SSR code to be entered on Final Stage, not on the 3rd Mix song...

And still no luck trying to get dirty mix X-Special.

idk if this info is of any worth but I did the method for the 1st mix specials, got the Paranoia one as extra stage, AA'd it, and got the Trip Machine one for OMES.

Hey i dont post here much, but our machine is now playable. This is my post from AIJ

ok, I came home this weekend and I heard our machine would have some updates. I went to a movie tonight and afterwards thought I would stop in to see how it was.

First off this is the version we have


I then proceeded to get 4 AAAs in a few rounds of play.
this was my best MA


i got around 32 on my others

basically its ALOT ALOT ALOT better.

now i know youre asking, whats up with the screen


Im not exactly sure what happened, but the LCD messed up. Luckily, its only on half of the screen. So the right side is still playable. Our manager has contacted betson and they contacted the monitor manufacturer. Our arcade is having a whole new cabiner shipped to them (aside from pads and bars) to fix the monitor issue.

While playing the game, I could tell right away they fixed it. If youve played the game with the screen filter. The screen filter comes on the screen i think a measure before the arrows do. When i played last time i was home, the screen filter was late or early (cant remember) but it wasnt on beat. This time it was. The marvelous window actually ment something this time aside from last time. If i started getting perfects, I knew how to adjust instead of playing a guessing game before.

Now we also got a pad fix, however it has not been installed. you may recall, last time i played, I had no issue with the pads really. It was mainly the software not allowing me to PA.

this is what the fix is however,


our manager said he would install it next week. I'll have to get nick to see if it makes a difference.

also, eamuse. From what I have heard. They are looking for locations (manager mentioned at least 20) to test eamuse. We are not confirmed however it is likely. More details on that when it happens.

all in all, the game is very playable now. I am very excited to play all day tomorrow. Vids coming tomorrow.

Freakin' awesome. That makes me feel a lot better about all this. Let's hope the lag can be adjusted eventually. Also, try asking your manager to ask about unlocks and if he could get an unlock code or something like that.
