DDR X Screen Filter Poll

eh, its a great idea... I will admit that. It does not seem to make much of a difference to me when I play though. That may be just because its the home version though, it may make a difference to me at a arcade because those screens are much brighter then the TV I use.

I only used it once on the Street Master Mode mission that requires you to use that extremely tiny note skin that replaces the arrows with 4 pixels. Without the filter I couldn't see a damn thing.

The characters and stages have never distracted me before. Oddly, I seem to do worse without them. On the other hand, bg videos that flash a lot irritate my eyes. Normally I turn videos off, but I know it's not possible to do that at the arcade.

Reasons like this are why I believe the filter was put there in the first place. So no, I don't think it's cheating.

You can cheat DDR? since when? I don't see how its cheating since your the one that puts your foot down when your doing DDR, I really don't see how thats cheating since your the one that decides to put your foot down.

I wouldn't care either way.

All I care about more is to see Emi dancing on-screen (and maybe other characters like Yuni and/or Alice).

Which is why I won't use this screen filter thingy.

In fact during the 20th century era, I myself questioned and perhaps criticized Ateam

Even if their freestyle/choreography routines are killer (more like what they did then was 'stuntwork imho'), I was not happy with their abuse of bar raping then

Nowadays, I wouldn't give a damn if they (and other people) bar rape or not.

I guess that goes to show that one's perceptions can change over time

Wow, now I really need to play DDR X. You can't imagine the frustration I feel when I miss a note on say Cartoon Heroes because it was blending in seamlessly with the flashy moving background.

well my advice is get better with slower speed mods as it makes you a much better player overall
