I dunno if half of those songs can happen though, being BeForU and all.
LOL BeForU songs.
I doubt that Konami adds any BeForU song in this game (Konami is still removing BFU stuff from IIDX SIRIUS)... But, I miss them too.

Oh! Rihanna and "Ice Ice Baby" in my DDR!

of course it would be amazing if we got any of those I doubt it since a lot of those are BeforU songs..

and now that I think about it we're not really missing THAT much from X JP or SN 2 JP
the only KO's we haven't gotten yet from those games are:
Leave Me Alone
The Flower in Your Smile
L'amour et la liberte (DJ Silver Mix)
Jupiter
Captivate Chikai
Mars Wars 3
A Geisha's Dream
Blue Rain
Chance and Dice
In love wit you
real-high-speed
nadeshiko rock (yes i know thats not its real name)
Ubertreffen
Zero

and then if you want to go back even further I'm pretty sure the only songs from SN JP we're still missing are
Moonster
Drivin'

and thats it!
I think it just seems like we're missing more than we really are.

Chikara too.

I dunno, I just want a catch-up game. I may be in the minority though, but hey, I'm excited either way.

Some info from the press conference:

-Licenses include Moby, Black Eyed Peas

-PS2 game will involve a "board style game" for its unlocking method.

-Wii game will include a mode where you use the balance board and wiimote. Mode involved bumping and punching forward when indicated. Had great reaction from the crowd. Also mentions another unique dancing mode for those who don't have the balance board. No info on that so far.

-No info on 360, PS3 versions as of now.
UPDATE:

-360, PS3 versions will have an 8-arrow mode.

-Over 150 DLC songs on 360, PS3 versions.

Let's hope for DLC for Wii. I mean, over 150 downloadable songs?! Amazing!

& I can't help to think of Pop'n Music 9's unlock system when I heard "board style game".

Also, are they JUST calling it "DanceDanceRevolution"?

So will each system have the same songlist, slight variations, or be very different?

Konami's DDR page updated!

More details on licensed tracks and new features, as well as the aforementioned.

"Viva La Vida"? Don't know 'bout you, but I didn't see THAT coming.

So the Wii DDR is called Ultimate Party Challenge? DDR: UPC? Edit: Whoops, that's a different game. Thanks for pointing that out, piepiepie75.

Some licenses from DDR's site:

“My Prerogative”/Bobby Brown
“Pocketful of Sunshine”/Natasha Bedingfield
“Viva La Vida”/Coldplay
“Boogie Wonderland”/Earth Wind & Fire
“Space Dance”/Danny Tenaglia
“I'm Coming Out” /Diana Ross
“Feel Good Inc.” /Gorillaz
