If that would happen, I must play stepmania again to practice those songs. I only have PS2 to play DDR games.

I wanna see some Ultramix exclusives/songpack songs hit consoles &/or arcade. Starmine REALLY needs to be on the PS2.

wow I thought the whole deal with the ps2 version was that it was going to have the same songlist plus 10~ kos. now the wii version gets that mark, just instead of around ten we got 3. hmmm.... I guess they had the entire game spoiled way before its release. earlier I thought this might fill out to be its own unique mix, but now it feels really watered down since theres not going to be anyting new.

Impressions: Yup, casual audience for sure. All 30 licenses are present. HP3 has four unique new KOs "Be With You (Still Miss You) / nc feat. Eddie Kay", "PARADISE / LEA DROP feat. McCall Clark", "Now's the Time / Brenda", and "Lesson3 / Dr. DDR". They also score a few of the FFP covers that X2 doesn't get. Perhaps the oddest thing about this list is the "HOTTEST PARTY" and "HOTTEST PARTY 2" entries. Overall, it has the largest songlist of any Wii DDR game to date, which gives it a thumbs up in my book.

Indeed, not a bad songlist at all! I can't wait to try the songs that were once Japan-exclusive.

Regarding X2:

Why would you include the 5 groove radar songs and not the original set of steps (except DR)? Especially when you know this isn't like Empress where the disc was full. I'll wait to make my final decision when we see the stepcharts, but if the top half are pre-X 6's and 7's this one is a pass.

I don't know if I will buy this. I might hold out to see what Japan gets, if I decide to go for X2 at all.

My gamestop today told me DDR X2 was actually street dated for the 27th this year. Looks like they'll have it day of shipping it seems.
