The Dancemania/DDR partnership is loooooooooooooong over.

Crossovers are always nice, and it seems there have been less of them lately, but then again we are getting NEW original songs from artists who primarily compose for iidx.

Extreme's interface sucks (old, stale, boring, tints arcade screens green...). SN2 and X2 have the best of the more recent games.

I'll be waiting for the 360 version of this new iteration, since it will probably have a few of the KOs from X2 and a bunch of exclusive ones, if Universe 3 is any indication.

Its pretty much confirmed through the 360 trailer to have every new license and KO from X2 and HP3 (other than Lesson3 by DJ lol)

Say did anyone find just the game? I called around and could only find the bundle.

Anyway I'm definately diggin it. My only complaint is that it still takes like 3 seconds for a song preview to load, never understood what that was all about.

Yeah X2 and HP3 are bundle only right now...

also I swear they did the delayed song loading on purpose because of the longer "select music" lines when the songwheel pops up. The music overlaps it in Stepmania with the DDR X Announcer on.

Its only 40 bucks for the bundle anyways... Most games now a days cost 60 and up.

I bought x2, its not a bad game, but its just not the same anymore. Ddr to me has been going downhill after Supernova. SN2 was still good but not as good as SN to me, X was the biggest POS ive ever wasted money on. X2 seemed like it was taking a step forward from X but still boring. Cool songs, i even like some of them, but the difficulty isnt there. It all seems easy or extremely hard (based on x) to me step wise, the steps were extremely awkward, seems the more difficult it got the more the steps got retarded. ive yet to play a hard song, but then again i havent unlocked all of the songs. i only played for about an hour then said screw it and went to the arcade, but maybe when i get a little farther into the game my opinion will change... doubt it.

Jesus god 1000 combos, and whoa, is Domi's hair pink at the end? Or is that bad video quality? In short: HOW AWESOME! I want to try those out! The background doesn't bother me too much, I love seeing the characters dance, even in silhouette form! It'll be a good game, easy or not!

I so wanna know what characters are in it, though...though seeing Domi there, I can assume Danca is there as well, and everyone else from past DDRs. When is there going to be official siteage for these games?

Like all DDR games, the default list is among the easier songs. However, the unlocks in this game have pretty hard charts. Up to about EXTREME JP/Extreme 2 US standards.

The difficult songs are fairly easy on the difficult scale. I passed Roponggi ver c (i believe, its the one with drills at the beginning and runs through the end) on my first try. the only two really hard songs in the game are increadibly stupid charts.

However, i do think the medium level to hard level charts are good. I can see how it would suck for him since the challenge goes from what i would consider hard 9s easy 10 to bs random and joke ten charts (going by the old scale)

Oh and what I got on here to say is the credit music is good and im almost positive its by nc. Also, Freeze, even though the song is really crappy, has a good chart.

Lastly, skrew getting PTFC in endless mode. Thats as bad as when I would get Kakumei Stealth in Max 2

Just got the game earlier today, and I have to say that I'm actually impressed....

Dice Master Mode is probably the best "Master Mode" since SN CS and Extreme 2. Very fun, lots of stuff to do, and plenty of different missions.

The new songs are very good, reminds me of the old Naoki-styled songs like Dynamite Rave and B4U (although ironically, the new Dynamite Rave is bad). I haven't even tried Request Mode yet...

Kinda funny, I was one of the most anti-X2 when the list came out.
