The dance stages for PS2 is going to use the recycled stages of DDR X. And it uses some features of the X PS2 Japanese region... And I think it will be a catch-up release for the US...

That was pure awesome. I just realized that I never bothered to check what Naoki looked like, even after playing DDR for all these years (Since the 1st US release). Seeing a game maker so enthusiastic about their game makes me want the game to release sooner!

The first draft of the boxart has been published. As you can see from the picture, this is not the 'final' boxart, but I imagine the final boxart will be extremely similar if not exactly the same.

Someone also got a video of the trailer they showed during their E3 press conference:

Despite showing the trailer at the conference, Konami decided not to officially release this trailer anywhere. My only guess as to why they would not release the trailer is that the 360/PS3 versions are still in Beta.

Naoki stated in an interview at E3 that they were looking into ways to distinguish these games from others, in terms of names. But it seems they are attempting to "reinvent" DDR and Karaoke Revolution. The biggest change really is that both the new games are dominated by popular master recordings, rather than covers or unpopular songs.

I also believe the new DDR and KR games are going to include the music videos for all the licensed music.

Nope, the next-gen DDR bundles will be $70. It says that the game was originally $60, but was dropped down $20 so it's only $40, as mentioned.

Perhaps the others will follow in the future & get dropped to $50?

Well I can understand that the PS3 bundle didn't drop.. :B Since the game itself would be $50 (Because for some reason DDR games are like $10 dollars cheaper or something around that area) and the pad would add that $20~ :B Because most soft pads are around that area..

Perhaps the PS2 got dropped because they've made pads for it for many ways, though by that logic, the 360 & maybe the Wii bundles should've gone down too. This is the 1st time they're making a PS3 bundle.
