I'm a somewhat new member here, but I'd like to give my input on DDR X2. I like the feel of it, but it kind of gives me an empty feeling, the boss songs. It made me wonder why Pluto the First was not fixed, and had shock arrows. I personally think that shock arrows are the worst gimmick ever put into DDR. And why was Dance Dance Revolution revived so late, and Paranoia Respect not revived at all? But overall, a good game. Improved over X, IMO.

They can have the stops and whatever, but at least speed it up to get it back to a 4th note on the beat.
I agree on the shock arrows. The concept isn't that bad except they seem more sensitive than mines. It's the fading and noise that really seem excessive.
Lastly, they should have used a different set of songs for the ES/OMES. ES could have been the evolved series, and depending on which songs you picked first, you got one of the versions for ES. OMES KP is fine. DEGRS has no place in any ES system unless they revived the standard lifebar with pressure, and Paranoia Respect/Max.(period) could have been thrown in there as well.
In reply to the comments about the JP version:
Hopefully the JP version is a throwback to previous DDRs with some good revivals. I know this one has been beaten to death, but since they went back and re-licensed original songs for the X-edits, it would be nice to get the last few songs like Petit Love and A Minute on a CS version. It would also be nice to see some unlock system that could identify old saves from other JP CS and provide artwork/songs/charts from that style. | |

some of these missions in Dice Master mode are brutal. How many times do they want us to get a PERFECT FULL COMBO or a MARVELOUS combo of like, 80 on Light songs?

LOL.. PFC missions? Really? Well that shall give people a challenge. And they probably only do that so you doing get all the songs so quickly. Which can be annoying yet a good thing at the same time. -shrugs- That's how I see it though.
