I play DDR whenever I'm free or hang out with friends. I go to my cousin's arcade in nyc here, so basically it's free for me. He charges about 50 cents per play though......

Since I started working at an arcade, I play about 6 rounds or so right before closing for free. But before working there I would play about 4 times a week. Each time I would play about 5 rounds at $.75 per 4 songs. That's about $15.00 a week or so.

All of the DDRs here in town range frome $1.00-$2.50. For 3-5 songs.

And the ITGs here are from .75cents for two songs. And 1.00 for three.

About 75 cents for 3 songs on DDR Extreme near where I live. There's an ITG machine which is the same price for the same amount of songs, but it sucks terribly D:

I remember playing ITG in a Kansas City Casino for 25 cents for 3 songs, which was like... amazing. I guess with all the money they rake in from gambling they could afford it xD

I've played on one of the local machines. It's $0.75 for, uh, 3 songs I guess.

Honestly, though, I don't really make it a point to go there to play or anything. If I'm in there and happen to have some loose change or tokens on me, I'll play a round or two but otherwise, I'd rather just play at home. The sound is better at home and the pads I'm using are far more sensitive than the ones on the machine.

Of course, I'm sure the fact that I learned on home pads probably accounts for a bit of that. Maybe I just don't stomp hard enough or something.

I pay 1.00 for 3 songs.
Back in MO, there was a place where they used this wiered card system, and when Me and Color of Sakura added it all up, you were paying like 3 bucks for 3 songs on an extreme unless you bought like 100 dollars in points, then it took it down to like 1.25 or something. It was crazy.

I do remember this one arcade a long while back where is was .75 for 5 songs. On the opposite there was another that charged 2.00 for 2 songs

Back in England, they're was a arcade where for about 1 pound (Pound is English money), you get like 6 credits, the machine was kinda bugged, no one noticed. I got 3 songs, then another 3 after. :P

When I first started DDRing a few years ago, the mall I went to had DDRMAX2 at $.50/4 songs. The other mall across town had Extreme for $.75/4 songs. Later, the first mall upgraded to Extreme, and had it at $.50/3 songs.

Then both places got rid of DDR, and all that was left was a movie theatre with a Solo Bass at $.50/4 songs.

Just recently, two other places have picked up SuperNOVA, one at $1.00/3 songs and the other at $1.00/4 songs.

That's all in the Midwest, where DDR seems to be fairly cheap. When I went to New York last fall, the arcade I went to had Extreme for $1.00/3 or 4 songs (don't remember) and SuperNOVA for $1.50/3 or 4 songs. They also had ITG but I didn't check how much it was.

Basically prices vary a lot. XD

Unfortunately, there are no arcades in my home area. The closest I get to an arcade is Stepmania. However, I'm wanting to open my own arcade within the next two years, dedicated to Bemani games, Pump It Up, and In The Groove. If it works out, it'll be genius on my part to bring up the idea. If it doesn't, the egss on my face will be pretty hard to get off.
