Extra stage help

I need some help with DDR EX home version. Now I'm pretty sure that it has an extra stage. Every game has an extra stage. Now I recently started a new file for it and on the last stage when I AA a song it only says "cleared" and goes to the result screen, then the result screen for all songs played. No ES. I went to the options and made sure event mode was off and such, tried again and still no ES.

Can anyone help me out with this?

ex jp: are you sure it's on heavy/challenge mode?

ex us: same as jp, also you need to AA 8 footers or higher in order to qualify for extra stage

also remember the AA has to be on the final stage

US version. And I said, the AA was on the final stage. And it's on any footer level.

I thought the mem card I have the game saved on was bad, so I tried it on a new card, and it's the same thing. Extra stage jsut won't show up.

maybe it was turned off at the options menu

Extra Stage doesn't show in the option menu either.

for US Extreme, the final stage has to be at least an 8 footer
