I get to the DDRMAX AC section and I come across two songs that caught my eye - Flash In The Night by Flashman and Follow Me by Lady Baby. Here's the banners for the people that are interested:
Now, it wasn't just the fact that I had never heard of these songs before, it was mainly their peculiar step ratings that really got me. You see, all the ratings for their steps, Light to Heavy, are rated 1 foot. This got me wondering on what they really are. So I come here to ask a question: What is the deal behind these songs?
EDIT: The simfiles say all 1-foot, but the DDR Game Database says that Flash In The Night was 3/5/9 and Follow Me was 3/6/8. Which one is correct?

So the songs don't have "official" foot ratings from Konami, those are just good guesses as to what they would be rated.
(Most people said removing the foot ratings was a bad idea because the Groove Radar was hard to figure out, hence why Konami put them back in with DDRMAX2 AC along with the Groove Radar).

Flash in the Night's was one of the biggest in the game (behind So Deep and Max 300 i believe...)

I though these were one of the more popular songs on Max back in the day, so that fact that you haven't heard of them makes me think otherwise.

I believe that the other songs that went with it were Bye Bye Baby Balloon and Ghosts (but you probably know of Ghosts because of DDR MAX 2 CS US).

I wish it was revived pretty bad, It was really challenging at the time and the song was pretty good too when it came out.

As for Flash in the Night, I have yet to actually pass that song , but I'd say it'd also be a nine. The groove radar stats are pretty wild.
And Follow me... Probably a 6-7 (like the post above).
