I heard that Tsugaru on heavy is good for learning those hard crossovers. But what other songs can help me with them? =>.<= I have trouble with crossovers...

Crossovers? Tsugaru's rather fast for it. AM-3P Heavy and Spin The Disc Heavy are the new person's fodder for crossovers.

I agree with the above post. Spin the Disc especially (though maybe I'm biased because I love good-cool so much).

Not at all. You can always do double stepping. Crossing in Ordinary World messes me up, and if you're going for a PA, then you are better off double stepping. Less movement, and much easier to hit the arrows. Also, you get dizzy twisting in Ordinary World.

Hope that helps.

The way the steps are set up in Ordinary World put you in a crossover position that finishes up with you facing the screen. There are no spins in Ordinary World. Go look at the stepchart for the song.

Tips on stepping V (For Extreme) Heavy? The little gallop-into-streams that pop up screw me over because I don't notice them fast enough.

You're just going to have to practice crossovers. If you were serious about the streams that begin with a gallop-type step, those are the simplest to do in the song.

Double-step the freeze-arrows too. Way to ruin a good song, Konami. =\

Hey, I might try that. I should've done that with my old pads which were like, a centimeter thick and slid without me even stepping yet. Thanks...

And I'm having trouble doing anything harder than Light mode. :/

I don't know why, but I always trip up on any Standard song. Even if it's just basic stuff, I slip on the metal and soft pads.

Never could do those crossovers...

Crossovers are just something that come with time. I'd say AM-3p if you want to learn to recognize them easier. but the fastest way to LEARN crossover or DO them would be just play and play.

A ton of Standard songs have simple three-note crossovers. You can also try them to just be surprised and be able to handle them when they come up suddenly.

I always thought true... (trance sunrise mix) was a good song for crossovers. Other songs include Freckles... yeah, I said it, sync, INSERTiON, and there's others too. Oh yeah, Saint Goes Marching... DEFINITELY.

Songs I'm having trouble passing:

Healing Vision: Angelic, I tend to just not keep up with the song in the latter part

Rhythm and Police: Ugh, I'm not sure if those are considered crossovers, but I can't do any of the streams

Legend of Max: Quite honestly I just can't read it fast enough to hit the notes.

I think the song I want to pass most is Paranoia Survivor Max, I'll get it down eventually.

Other than that I can probably pass all the songs on the machine, it's an Extreme 8th mix I tihnk. (All charts I'm referring to are heavy)

It sounds like you're getting way ahead of yourself. Don't even expect to attempt a 10-footer for awhile either.

You'll have to find less harder songs. Rhythm and Police is one of the first hard 9s for a less experienced person.
