Total Tokens: 52,138.55 Donate Tokens | Getting back in shape So I want to play DDR after hiatus for months; I've been smoking for a while now on and off. I'm a little out of shape, how can I get my lungs back to decent/good condition?
BTW, I've been playing for a while now, 5-6 years and I've AA'd countless heavy songs, but I just want to play again. | |

Because that'll definitely affect the difficulty of songs you do ( the oxygen your lungs get will be affected ) .To get back in shape is simple , do workout mode on songs 1 level below what you could do before , do this for about an hour or more a day and you'll get to where you were before your hiatus ( maybe even further ).

Total Tokens: 52,138.55 Donate Tokens | Well, I don't smoke as a habit, I do it when I'm excessively stressed (when my mom decides to go schizo on me) and obviously (my avatar) I dip instead. I've had a pack for about a week now and it's not done, but I'm not gonna do it anymore. I quit smoking weed a little bit ago (until college) so I figure my lungs will be better. Only problem is I'm constantly in a smoking environment (family, friends) so it's probably not the best either. | |

Shiny.
Passed Sakura Heavy (A) as well as a bunch of 9's. I'm sweating profusely right now; my stamina and PA is so poor right now. Ironically, a guy playing with me said he'd trade my endurance for his PA; if he knew how I felt he'd change his mind.
So yeah. EE, Sakura, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. Also, wtf, no rnp? No irresisteblement? What is this blasphemy? | |

1. Drink tons of water. We're talking at least 64 oz. a day.
2. Eat healthy foods. Think high in protein and other essentials and low fat. Tuna, grilled chicken, and turkey are all staples. An occasional treat is cool but that's how it should remain: OCCASINONAL.
3. Cardio, Cardio, Cardio!! Start off at a comfortable pace to get your body use to exercising. Then, increase time, distance, etc. to challenge yourself and to increase the effectiveness of the workout. Cardio conditions your heart and your lungs for work. You also increase stamina and endurance. Furthermore, try to diversify your cardio activity, so you don't get bored. Play DDR some days, other days run on an elliptical.
4. No more drugs, cigs, or booze. They're all VERY counterproductive.
5. Weight lift. Weigh lifting is a great way to get toned and to burn excess calories. Do it!

I've tried running, but i dunno how much i have to run before i start to feel results.
