Good DDR For a Starter? (PS2 or GC)

Extreme 2 helped my n00b of a friend. She plays the master mode and it helps her progress of becoming a heavy player.

Absolutely the first Extreme. Sure the song list isn't perfect, but in my opinion it has the best difficulty progression (if that makes sense).
