Default Groove Radar Glitch in SuperNOVA

When you get the extra stage, go to the song immediately above or below the extra stage song.
The radar will stay the same as if it was on the ex stage song.
EXAMPLE: When on FaxX, go right to flow which is right below it and look at the groove radar.

its not that big of a deal, and I'm not sure if its even a glitch, but I really dont think it was worth telling everyone.

Of course it's a glitch. Why would they keep the groove radar locked on one song if they are selecting another one? They probably just overlooked it when they were testing the extra stages.

I do. Stream and Voltage are pretty good indicators of difficulty. Air is too.

People who didnt feel like choosing fascination maxx as their extra stage and look at the groove radar for the songs they choose to play.

It only does it if you scroll directly down or up. If you go back over FaxX, then it fixes the radar.

Stepmania has quite a bit of Groove Radar inconsistency as well with Voltage and Stream. For example:

>In single, Max 300 Standard is depicted as having a lower voltage than the heavy stepchart, even though the voltages are supposed to be identical just from looking at the charts.

>(Not exactly DDR relevant but I'm just trying to make a point). Disconnected Mobius in single is depicted as having a higher stream in Oni (Expert) than in Heavy (Hard) even though the Oni stepchart has fewer steps (405) than the Heavy chart (421).

There are many other examples but you can see what I mean. It's been bugging me for some time but nobody on Stepmania's message boards has figured out exactly what causes the inconsistencies. To make matters worse, the thread (I started it) has been dying.
