Wait, what? Now I'm just confused.

Back on topic though, I personally like the Afterburner... but I've never played on a KOC, CF, or anything other than the Afterburner and the crappy TX-4000 (is that the right name?) and the Afterburner was MUCH better than the TX.

Gotta love friends who have money to blow on stuff like that.

A thousand dollars is fucking two months rent in some places. That's absolutely through the ceiling.

Sure the rules don't exist, but don't break them. 1 &2 especially.

On topic, I could probably build a pad myself just as good for 1/10th of the price. There really is no need to have such an expensive price.

Besides ridiculously overpriced pads, has anyone ever used/seen the original Konami ASC'? I remember like 7 years ago hearing how Yasu had bought one for several thousand dollars but I remember only seeing one picture.

Well, they were only produced once and sold on Konamistyle for about $1000 I think, they needed a minimum of 100 orders I believe before they would produce them so I can't imagine there are many more than that in existence.

You know, I thought these beat-gear were made, three/four years ago and the guy went bankrupt and had to cancel production of these pads.

I'm surprised no body else had said it before...

EDIT:// Yeah, look here. This video was Chris [from Stepmania team, I presume] testing out the pads back in 2002.
