ITG bars is also wide (which is something I love about ITG), which also makes it very easy to use. This helps "bigger" people and taller people quite a bit obviously.

i'm 5'10'' or 5'11'' and have no problems playing on either itg or ddr. i prefer ddr's bar height, but i'll get used to either. i've sdg'd all but 12 of the heavy and oni charts on ddr extreme and i have less than 20 greats on every song on extreme. also, i have no problems passing faxx or felm extra stage, so passing isn't an issue either.

Checklist:

1) Build enough stamina to have enough stamina to do Checklist Item #2, losing weight would be one if the better ways to accomplish this i think..

2) Be able to defeat Faxx Expert Singles

3) Being practicing doubles play (since i've played at most 10 doubles games my entire DDR career just because i felt like I had some extra cash to spend, so i'm no doubles player)

4) Defeat some other boss songs on doubles (as i expect Faxx to be harder than others of course)

5) Make Video of me passing Faxx Expert Doubles (whether its the first time or after a few times after being comfortable lol)

yeah, give me some time on that

lol very nice. He makes it look easy, as he didn't seem to have any problem with it or look tired at all during it. I mean sure he's breathing and sweating after, but his feet never seem to get sluggish during.

Yeah, lemme get singles down as perfect and effortless as a robot could do before going ahead with doubles XD

Honestly, if I had my own house, i'd like to be able to DDR at home, unfortunately, at the 2nd floor of a home, and my weight, there's no doing that. Also, home pads doing go well with me, its arcade or bust. If i could find an old DDR cabinet that I can hotwire for stepmania, i'd do that right away and use it daily, other than that, i can only really take the time to DDR on weekends since i work a regular 40 hours a week. Since Winter's coming, i can't walk the 3 miles to get to the nearest DDR machine, so I need to find some indoor exercises to do x.o

Knowing singles at all really won't help you that much....

Its not knowing it, its just being able to do it. I just assume playing doubles well take a lot more energy out of my traversing both pads, than doing it on singles, and with my current stamina level, i doubt i can do FaXX (heck i can only do about 2/3 of Max 300 Me My Happy Fun Time Mix, i dunno i don't remember the name, Super-Max-Me i think it is XD), but i usually play that song once or twice a week so i've been slowly getting further into it for sure.

I'm not saying the two compare in difficulty, but you see where i'm at, and how much i have to build up

you also have to learn new crossovers, and they are AKWARD. Its very difficult to play doubles even when you are AAAIng on normal play. Hardest part is the crossovers, and hitting the left & right arrows on both pads. You also need to decide if you are going to hold on to the bar the entire time (like I do), because once you start one way (bar or not), you may not be able to use the other way.

I've input all the Secret Unlock Codes for SN2 on my machine, and I did enter them in as if I were playing them on Doubles (well, how "I" would've done them on doubles anyway), but that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to a basic doubles crossovers I bet.. that and i didn't have to do it at 400 bpm.

I don't think I would hold onto the bar unless required (like for Healing D Vision Oni on Singles... i'm not sure if i could ever crossover back and forth that fast ever without holding onto the bar and keeping balance. I'd have to use one hand on the bar for that I would imagine). I'm not a bar user for singles, so I'd most likely not use them on doubles.

I wish I can be 5'10. 5'11 or so. You guys are tall. I'm like 5'8' and DDR is okay, no problem, pretty much eye level with the screen.
