Usually when i get stuff for guitar i can get the best prices online that I've found throughout the years, so i'm hoping you guys can pass on that kind of knowledge to me. Like... wheres the best place to buy good quality dance pads for a low price, which one should i buy if i'm looking for something under 100$ (preferably under 60$)
Thank you in advance guys.

But I think you are looking for a foam pad. Foam pads can get pricey, but on ebay, there are some really good deals, and some come bundled with a game, or extra pad. Like I bought 2 for $40 (thats including shipping). Red Octanes can get past $100 as well, but dont go there, me and my friend with threw at least 10 of thoose pads.
So I would go with ebay.com or playasia.com. Search for ignition, or foam dance pad, and you will get some good results. There are also some good links on this site that can get you what you want just go to some of thoose.

Your best bet would probably be a Buy N Shop foam pad for $50. www.buynshop.com

I was wondering about the quality of their pads as well. How long have you had yours and how well is it holding up?

The pad is great and all but not for hard songs like the ones I mentioned. Do you think I'll be able to play songs like these (or even harder songs) on a foam pad?

CF's are a little better in that respect because you can prop it against a wall, but pads closer to arcade quality demand a bit more space for storage, especially ones that have bars attached.

Anyways back on topic, I'd highly recommend getting a cobalt flux. I've had mine for about three years and its never let me down. The only two ways you can mess
it up is if you play the pad in mud shoes or if you crush the control box that comes with it(which is not a big issue as long as your careful)

Total Tokens: 1,079.90 Donate Tokens | Cobalt Fluxes, in my opinion, are absolutely terrible. I bought one because it advertised arcade feel and sensitivity, and also because people talk about it like it is the end all be all of DDR pads.
The way that fluxes are set up, you can only step in the middle of the arrow, anywhere else may be a pad miss. Now, this might not be a huge deal, but my play style a heel-toe type of deal to conserve energy and such, so it didn't feel sensitive to me. Also, because of how thin the pad/plastic is, it feels (and sounds, that's somewhat important to me) absolutely nothing like the arcade pad.
I also hear (I cannot back this up) that the v1 fluxes were much better. Those were the ones that you hear about getting run over by SUVs and then AAAing songs afterwards. I hear that the v2 fluxes would not survive that, or get even close to surviving it. I've heard this a few times from a few different people, and so, from other users, I guess the v2s aren't durable.
If you choose to go with a metal pad, I would reccomend the Blueshark metal pad from Mymybox.
It seems you aren't that hardcore to want a metal pad yet, if you're only wanting to spend $60-$100. I'd say go with the BNS foam pads ( http://buynshop.com ).
