Marketplace Rating: 0 | Highest possible BPM Is there a limit to how high the BPM can be in a song in the games, just out of curiosity? What is the highest BPM song out there, I don't think Sakura is the highest with 300 BPM.

Marketplace Rating: 29 | Max. (period) has the fastest bpm you play at, 600. The Legend of MAX goes up to 666 at the freeze, but you aren't playing anything there. Also FYI 桜 hits 320bpm.

Yes, I realize that's ITG.
As for DDR, I guess Max . (Period) is indeed the fastest.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I don't really see how they have been turning it up lately. Since LoM is out (and that was already a while ago), the only song I know with a higher BPM is Fascination Maxx, which goes to 400. And not for the whole song either.
It has been interesting also how most of the new songs on SuperNOVA barely went over 200-230 BPM. I mean, Xepher's at around 170, and it's a 10; they could have doubled its BPM just for the sake of having another high BPM song. But they sticked to the song's actual BPM instead.
All this to say I don't think we're going to see a lot of high-speed songs from Konami in their future releases (and that's not bad).

Marketplace Rating: 2 | Im sure reading 1000+ bpm isn't impossible look at O2Jam players they read pretty damn fast for the ammount of notes on screen. Personally I can read up to about 750 bpm with only a little bit of brain lapsage.

My bet is that the fastest stuff in games currently is going to be the fastest stuff we're going to see. Okay, maybe it'll get a little bit faster than that... but not much.

To answer question of the thread, it's really up to Konami to decide the highest BPM, amd just incase they have people going on forums as spies or something, I wouldn't bait them to make higher BPMs.

LOL Doing 1/8 streams at that speed is like hitting 1/4 notes at 2k bpm.. i think that the highest the BPM in a DDR song i saw, that you do have steps to, (Unlike the 666 bpm in LOM) is FAXX. Also, does anyone know the speed of chaos? And, for my own personal reference, what is the slowest BPM in a ddr/itg game, slowest i have seen is Bag @ 65 bpm..

The slowest speed in which an arrow must be hit is DDR's Sakura... and contrary to what the game says, the single arrow that needs to be hit is not at 14BPM, but at 21 BPM, which is also the lowest occurring BPM in DDR. As for ITG, the lowest occurring BPM is 29 in Fly With Me and the lowest speed at which arrows must be hit is One False Move at 52 BPM. Monolith starts at 49 BPM but doesn't really count since as soon as you hit the first arrow, the chart speeds up to 196 BPM, and it is therefore as if the chart was 196 BPM from the start.

sakura is the lowest at what, 14bpm, but the new long train runnin' goes down to 23bpm i think. i haven't played it yet so i'm not sure if you even hit anything during it. somewhere over the rainbow had a long 25bpm part but it's not in supernova.

That'd Monolith Expert the slowest in which arrows must be hit for ITG, even though it's only for two jumps.
Also, for DDR, isn't the beginning of Trip Machine Survivor really slow? Like...45 BPM, or 42.5 BPM? I know that's not the slowest, but I thought it was worth mentioning. (I think it's 1/4th the normal BPM, like HVAm and Monolith.)
