I bought this Dance Mat

Hello I just bought this dance mat, can someone explain it to me? like do the arrows light up? is it a good mat?

That is a terrible mat and will probably die on you soon from what I've heard.

Its awful. I owned two, and they both constantly needed repairs and fixes. I had to tune them myself to work properly too. One ended up breaking beyond the point of no retuen too. Good luck!

Better make that four negatives. I made the mistake of buying a replacement pad after the first one died out. Next time I'll buy something more reliable like an Afterburner or a Blueshark.

Blueshark is dead. Just go for Cobalt Flux. I've had mine for about 4 months already, which I haven't cleaned it yet, and it is still giving me AAAs on some songs. (8-footers, etc.)

I've had a mat like this and it, well, works for a while. Couple months anyway, on 7-9 footers without maintenance. If you CAN repair them, they're dandy. It cracks and has occasional misses, but I'd take it over a soft mat any day.

Aren't PS2 mats gonna be outdated soon, anyway...? Maybe not for another year, but long enough to kill one of these mats? :P

No. Very few home pads light up when you hit the arrows.

Actually yes they do. That is if the control box will permit you. I have four Control Boxes, and on two of the control boxes the light wont light up when you press a button. Well that is if its the same TX1000 I bought years ago, and if they are being made the same way.
