Default Kind of A stupid Question

By Any chance Can anyone tell me How to take advantage of using a PS1 Memory Card in a DDR Extreme Arcade Machine?
I Know U Can at least make Edit Steps, Anything Else, and How Do I Actually use it in The first place?

Buy a copy of DDR Extreme (Japanese version).

If you don't have that good luck, cause they're hard to find now.

Make the edit on the PS2.
Save on the PS2 memory card.
Put a PS1 memory card in the other slot.
In the Systems memory card browser transfer the edit data from the PS2 to the PS1 card.

Find a DDR Ex cab with slots and away you go.

this works with every japanese ps1 (except 1st) and ps2 mix provided the songs exist on extreme ac

also, if you have 5th mix ps1, you can use link data to save your scores on extreme

You also get to save your scores on every song. This was before e-amuse, so this is what they used to use instead.

getting a japanese PS2 is very easy. just go to play-asia.com or go post a WTB thread in the marketplace forum. Theres also ebay, but that is a little harder to find on there.

Or you can just get your current PS2 chipped.

Or buy a 60GB Japanese PS3 if you can't find a Japanese PS2.
