Default Knee Tendon Injury?

So two weekends ago, I had an intense session of DDR. I was at an anime con, and they had 5th Mix arcade. I played for about 20 minutes nonstop (it was thursday evening, pre-registration day.. so no one playing DDR). I didn't stretch or warmup. Did level 8s and 9s. So at the end of the 20 minutes, I felt really really burned out. And I was done. I spent the rest of the weekend walking around the con. I didn't play DDR the rest of that weekend because I noticed a pain in my left knee.

Last weekend, I went jogging. About 5 minutes into the jogging, I noticed that pain in my knee came back. I noticed the pain wasn't there if I walked. But if I jogged or ran, it was there.

Last night, I went jogging and once again, the pain returned after 5 minutes.

My question is, should I take a break from DDR and jogging for another week or two? Has anyone had a similar knee tendon injury? What should I do for faster healing?

Yea. Stop. Pain usually means stop.

The severity of your next actions depends on a couple of things. 1. sit down, and try lifting the lower half of your leg up just with your muscles. If its very difficult, you should go see a doctor (I blew mine out skateboarding). If it seems okay otherwise (good range of motion and all), just lay off it a while, do minor stretching, and if it worsens, then again: go see a doctor.

Knees are no joke.

Yeah just take a break. Pain is your bodys way of telling you to stop. If it still hurts badly after about a week or two go get it checked out.

And on another note, was the con you were at Sakuracon?

Human knees have the worst design ever. They are usually very easy to rip or tear. And when they do, you suffer alot....

Lol, try not move around. A doctors your best bet here. Worst case scenario is that you'll need knee surgury. I've had one of those and it sucked ass big time.....

But I doubt you'll need it...
