Whats your price range? If you have ~$300, I'd buy a Cobalt Flux, which is regarded as one of the best DDR pads.

CF is indeed your best bet.

Unless you wanna settle for Redoctane pads.

If you don't care about arcade pad similarity, then DEFINITELY Cobalt Flux. Don't settle for anything less.

If you're looking for a soft pad, Target has the ITG 2-pad bundle for $19.99 last time I checked. Those are more affordable, & are the best soft pads around, IMO.

The one with the 2 ITG Official Pads?

Those are like, incredibly good softpads.

Yeah, I got it in June for ~$30 shipped. Just looked, & it appears they don't have that anymore

hiya team , thank you for all replies i have chit chatted to mum a bit about them. We have decided to look for a Soft Pad for a start , we're not sure we will be into it 100% and get full use with the CF. So best bet is a Soft Pad for a test

any recommendations on a SP ? im leaning towards a Red Octane

Don't even think about Red Octane ignition. Just click out of the site or get out of the store an never think about it again.

As a previous owner of a CF, I support this. Just watch out that they don't break the control box, they are rather fragile ironically.
