Much difference between SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA 2 on the ps2?

I'm thinking about buying SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA 2 on the PS2, but im not sure if they are too simlar, is there many different songs between them? and is the game play different?

what about the songs, do Supernova and supernova 2 have alot of simlar songs or do they have quite a few different ones, its just i dont want to buy supernova then buy supernova 2 and find out they have alot of the same songs on.

And I'm still confused to why they did that. Oo They should have kept Trim on Supernova and added at least Pluto for SN2. -.-
