The video is being uploaded NOW. I split it into two videos. The first video is how to fix the pad (However I did not show a close up of the censor so I am going to provide a link to a picture in the description to see how it looks, with a diagram). The first video also shows how to improve accuracy with the pad by sliding the panel forward.

The 2nd video shows the back panel foil mod that I have created. It also has a tip on applying windex to the panels if they are slippery because I have gotten a stupid question on cleaning the panels on youtube before.

I will edit this post when the videos are uploaded.

EDIT: Here are the videos...
YouTube - Mod Ye Dance Pad Yarg Part 1 of 2
YouTube - Mod Ye Dance Pad Yarg Part 2 of 2

I have not been able to take a picture yet... So I will have to tomorrow. I have been very busy this weekend and have not had a chance to get around to it, or editing this video down to size.

I also will add a trouble shooting method in the description tomorrow as well.

Speaking of pad issues, is it just natural for Cobalt Flux pads to give freaking random goods or almosts? It will never give me a boo, but it will give me the others when I'm playing. I mean that I will play a group of songs that I know I can full combo and nearly AAA them all, yet almost half of them will have a point where I just break my combo with a good or an almost when I FREAKING HIT THE ARROW! >>

Any insights?

yeah that's normal. i don't know if i do it enough for people to really notice, but i preach sometimes on forums about how bad cobalts are and how much i hate them.

modding cobalt flux pads is what i did to make mine better. not perfect, but i think this is as good as it's going to get.
