Seems to me like the arrows are physically bending inward from repeated use (no more TLOM... *sigh*). I have bent them back outward, but this is causing the sides of the arrows to crack. My friend has a FLAME pad with polycarbonate arrows, and I was wondering where I could find these. Froogle, Amazon, Lik-Sang and Game Asylum have yielded no results. All I can find is the replacement metal ones and the (crappy) acrylic arrows. If anyone could send me a link, that would be great.

BTW, does the CF use the same switch style (microswitch with conductive material on the underside of the arrow) as the TX-4000? I just don't want to spend money on a useless product.

...unless you're really good at cracking arrows.

No, it did not come with acrylic arrows. It came with metal arrows that have the same problem as the acrylic ones.
Here's a picture:
Is this what a CF arrow looks like?

it looks a bit different size so i'm not sure that a lexan panel and the sheet metal for the decal would really work at all.

Is this what a CF arrow looks like? | Actually CF arrows uses two metal sheets to connect the circuit. I don't know if CF panels would work or not. My experiences with the TX acrylic has been nothing short of distasterous as I outright destroyed 2 of the panels right after I got out of training due to how hard I was playing on one.

Total Tokens: 1,752.53 Donate Tokens | Hmmm. Does the bottom of the Lexan arrows have a sheet of metal or other kind of conductive material on the bottom like the one in the picture? as long as it has that, I figure it'll be fine.
BTW, for the last time, the TX-4000 DOES NOT COME WITH ACRYLIC FOOT PADS. It has metal pads.
Could someone please post a picture of the underside of a CF arrow, along with measurements, plz? Quote:

Is this what the bottom looks like? I know it's not great, it's a cell phone picture. It's just a piece of foam with metal surrounding it, with a piece of conductive material (not foil) stuck to the bottom.

a little like a window crack, does that affect your playing?

The underside of the CF arrow is completely metal except for velcro that matches up with velcro on the base to keep the arrow in place. On the base is the sheet metal squarish thing that connects the circuit when the two contact, like when you're dancing.
i measured the dimensions of the arrow as well, and they are about 11x11 inches.

As for the panel dimensions, I know the lexan is 1/8" thick and I think it's 12"x12" given the fact that the decals are 11"x11" squares.
