A lot of people seem to bring up that MAX.(period) is only on Extreme JP CS and that it is stupid and will never come back to anything because Konami hates everyone or doesn't care or something. I really don't know why everyone makes such a big deal over it, but whatever.
DO NOT ask me for the source, but I have it on good authority that the reason Konami has not put MAX.(period) on an arcade mix like SuperNOVA is out of the fear of causing someone to get hurt, making for a possible lawsuit. Ironic, I know. The reason this is not an issue with the release of Extreme JP CS is because MAX.(period) can be played on a Dual Shock controller. Basically, if you hurt yourself on a pad, that's your own fault.
With the advent of charts like Fascination Maxx Oni, it is quite possible that a future arcade DDR release (maybe not SuperNOVA 2 but possibly something beyond it) will feature MAX.(period) as a playable song. Only time will tell.
Discuss.

My source tells me that it's the video; it would confuse so many American players, causing them to have seizures via 1stMIX interface. XD

You're an idiot.

XD | Actually, they would be more likely to have seizures from flashing colors in Japan than in America, due to stress. Studies resulting from that stupid Pokemon seizure thing noted that the reason for the high amount of seizures was students zoning out when watching TV because they were so stressed out by school.
Plus I think that's a really retarded reason. I highly doubt it, as every dance pad and dance game ever made pretty much says the creators aren't responsible for injury and warn that playing causes lots of stress and repetitive impact on the spine and other bones.

There may be some other underlying reason about this song other than injury and I like the fact that we cannot ask him for the source. Let's make believe that Konami intented to make a song on Dance Dance Revolution that was supposed to played on a Dual Shock controller (...right)

| Oh yeah sure that'll happen.Maybe when ITG 4 comes out we'll see that with a Naoki K.Ward collab.

Konami throws darts at balloons with sheets of paper with arrow patterns on them. That's also how they decide who to sue next.
The reason we've not seen Max. officially in the US? Probably because it was meant in the same sense as RAW was in PIU, except instead of thanking the people who worked on the game, it was thanking the fans. Here in the US, we "didn't get" all of the mixes, so we didn't deserve the tribute song. If it was on a US mix, it would be like admitting they knew nobody would pay attention to the "Not to be played outside of Japan" screens.
