I wish our arcade operator would take the 5thmix software out of their warehouse and put it in one of their DDR Machines. I really wanna play 5thmix again.

In fact, I couldn't believe how many versions this song as (I mean TM Revolution has a version; High and Mighty Color have a version as well plus this "We Drink Ritalin" engrish-filled one).
Anyhow, yeah, 5th had the most awesome BG vids (of the pre-Supernova era). Really refreshing to look and pleasing to the eyes back then (yup the advent of 60 fps to the arcade game franchise). Indeed, matches well with the wonderful voice of Yoma Komatsu back then. Indeed, one of the top ten reasons why I liked Max 2.
P.S.
Anyways yeah, Extreme arcade crammed everything into one CD. Hence why disliked it and also why I believed Extreme sucks like crap (to the point that even Max2 was a better version compared to it).
And yeah, the hardware is System 573 Digital (already 60 fps though after the rom flashing procedure that started with 5th Mix arcade). Though yeah, due to the compression, Extreme arcade really went down hill for me. In short, it sucks

Also all of the aesthetic issues and the crappiness of a crammed cd-rom to fit all of the arcade data.

I haven't played Max 2 JP yet though, so I can't say anything about it.

When you think about it, you're not going to even notice a difference in a loud arcade, and it's rare for arcades to be quiet or machines to be in homes. Max2 is really awesome, but Extreme is definitely a much better game, audio issues aside. The upgrade from Max2 to Extreme lost like 10 songs and gained 100, Extreme's interface is nice (although I will admit I prefer Max2's), and the background videos are much less distracting in my opinion. Plus, without Extreme, we wouldn't have most of the sorrows :P (which are my personal favorite songs to play in DDR). Quote: |

| *technically* the rom flashing procedure has been going on for a while. 3rd's GAME.DAT and 4th+'s GAME.DAT are not the same, which totally disproves that theory (GAME.DAT is what gets copied to the flash roms during an install). | |

No no no no no no no nooooooooooo
the other fallback is the sheer number of bgvideos from max2 that had to be CUT from the game to make it within the capacity of a cd, and almost every song that was also in Max2 AC has its video sequence changed...and those scripts are terrible in comparison to what they were before.
Also theres that 1 skull background that fucking scrolls UP with the arrows and is annoying as fuck.

Wonder no more!
It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life.
The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintaining a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.
If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into and buried.
The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:
"Freeze a jolly good fellow."
bye
