All the details are in there. A couple things.

1. Even though it says it is for xbox, the procedure is identical for xbox 360. just substitute either a konami original xbox 360 dance pad or the madcatz 360 one instead of the regular xbox one. I used the one that came with the Universe bundle.

I'll sum up the process: your dance pad has two components. One is the controller that communicates with your console, the other is the square panels which are no more than switches. You step on the up panel, and the up wire is connected to the ground wire completing a circuit and telling the controller that the up button has been pushed. Only an xbox 360 controller can be used with the xbox 360, so you have to start with an xbox 360 compatible dance pad and separate the controller (black oval shape at the top) from the pad itself. You'll replace the pad with any other which will be connected to the controller. So in essence you are still using the xbox 360 dance pad, but you've changed the 'buttons'. I hope this helps. Would a PS2 --> USB adapter for the PC work on the 360's USB ports? I know those are cheap and a lot of people have them for Stepmania.

I don't think so. Even if it would work, my big fat metal pad doesn't work with my EMS Trio Linker Plus.

I'm no good at all at soldering too , but i'm quiete interesting in this.

Would you be ok to buy the product yourself for exemple , do the pad , and sell it at the price of material + The time you take ?

That would sold like a charm , makes people happy , and makes you win money if it's easy no ?

I'm going to do this tomorrow with my Konami 360 pad, I already opened the control box and everything looks like sinistar's guide. I'll let you guys know tomorrow how it goes, I just need to stop at Radio Shack

So im assuming when the ps3 version comes out with their pad the soldering process would more than likely work to.

Huge success, but it took me two tries and two pads! I'm not too worried because I won't need them anymore anyways.

The only hard part is soldering the wires to the 15 pin connector. The thing is TINY!

All in all it ran me about 15 bucks and a spare pad or two

Is this guaranteed to work? I don't see dance pads mentioned in that link, but I see no reason why it wouldn't. Just checking cos shipping to the UK will be a right bitch, especially if the thing doesn't work!

I cant say it does, but I see no reason why it wouldn't. If anything that would stop it from working like a normal dance pad would be lag between the adapter and the XBOX 360. If your interested maybe you could send them an e-mail to double check.
