Okay, I need answers quickly on this one. My warranty ends either tomorrow or Wednesday and I'm debating whether to get the pad exchanged or not. The right and down arrows sometimes get stuck or don't sense my steps and it is getting irritating. They said on their site that I have to pay them 15% if I try to exchange it and they see nothing wrong with it. You know how people are when they supposedly "check" if it works? I play heavy most of the time and I don't know if it is my footing or not because my sister has recently started and I taught her how to step with the tempo so when she hits it, mostly she will get perfects or greats since she is on beginner and light but she says it also gives her boos and almosts when she hits the arrows perfectly fine and I watch where she steps too. You guys think I should exchange this and how does the process work?
yes? if they say nothing is wrong with it, then tell them you just want a refund, and that people are waiting to hear back about your decision before they decide to buy their own (obviously just try to work this in conversationally)
word of mouth can be very helpful or very destructive to a small, niche company.
I'll try calling them now even though in a few days, my 60-day warranty will be up so I'll try my best because my friends and my sister have been thinking of getting pads themselves, but they most likely won't if mine is being crappy after that amount of time.
My calls didn't go through, of course, so I filled out a warranty claim giving all my problems. I'll try calling right when their phone line opens up tomorrow fast to make sure I can get this done.
Edit: My request was accepted, but any of you had to do this before because I want to know how the whole shipping thing goes?

It turns out that I was barely over the warranty but I still couldn't send it back.
I don't know why it does that stuff. I know it isn't my footing because I can go through a song and AA it almost with 200+ combo, thenthe next time I do it, I break that 200+ combo like 7 times with "almost" or "boo". I know it has to be something with the sensors and the way the pad looks on the exterior. For some reason, the parts where the foam meets on the corners of the arrows are pushed up and wrinkled and I look down to see my footing while on a song I that I am very familiar with the step chart. When I look back, it still acts the same even when I tried flat footed and using my toes.
Is there anyway without cutting up the pad that I can check and move the sensors back in place if that is the problem?
