Marketplace Rating: 0 | I usually pick skate shoes (Vans, DC, K2, etc.) because I love playing flat foot all the time. I just avoid leather shoes because they are TOO slippery especially in songs with crossovers like Break Down, No. 13 and Exotic Ethnic.

after some wearing into them, theyve served me the best that any pair has ever.
ive pulled off (in ITG) tons of *s, a few **, great FA, and passed almost all 11s/12s (the ones im missing im just too lazy ot play)
and for DDR ive been able to pass PSMO as a warmup, and i picked up doubles and was able to beat PSMO Doubles within about 2 months of playing.

Also, this may be embarassing but does anyone else always do a few quick taps and crossovers at the store when trying on new shoes? Hahaha

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Shoes? At home, when we use the Dance Pad, we don't wear any shoes, unless we use the shiny one, and we'd wear socks. In arcades, though, where people have stepped on the metal dance pads, I prefer wearing Converse shoes because they don't really bother me at all, except if the shoelaces hate me and go loose. I like the shoelace-less Nike Shoes (I forgot the kind, sorry!) that really bend wonderfully without breaking the shoe. It really depends on your foot.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I have a pair of addidas skating style shoes for DDR. At first, I thought... "Hey, wider and larger is better" but then I realized its all about pressure in the right places. But, they still work great for me. Easy to move in, and comfortable. I think comfort is the stat to shoot for.

I tried when I was still in the army and it was the most awkward thing I had ever ever done.

I accidently wore some Timberland boots once while my friends were playing DDR. It was really, really, really hard......T-T
Nike Impax Dime for the moment, not sure if they offer any support.......

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Shoes? I am most comfortable using semi heavy duty leather shoes... That's the best way I can explain them...
I'm also used to wearing sandals with socks while playing DDR... Yeah, lame sense of style, I know...
But I guess rubber shoes would be best, since they were designed for "Exercise".
