bg or vids? what about both? Have the character on a stage and the video plays on a large monitor behind him/her. But then, that would be copying Bust a move to some extent.

I kinda like how the dancers dance and where they dance at supernova because at least they are somewhere, unlike on earlier mixes, even though the opening shows them dancing somewhere, when you really start to play, you see
them dancing inside a studio in which you see the videos.

It'd be nice to have dancers dance with monitors and all but wouldn't that eat up power from the game's hardware? I mean, that'd be kind of unnecessary. And even then, I don't think PS2s will be able to handle that much.

I don't like the characters in they way. I'm the dancer here, people should be looking at me, not some noob on the screen.

well the dancers often just do sequences who are not related to the stuff in the background and its also that some of them confuse me when im on the song (maybe because i am a bit blind

) but well, for the guys seeing u they are a total time and disk space waster.
if they are pretty u should observe when u consider its a justified reason...

The only dancers I don't like are the ones on Hottest Party. Otherwise, I like them. It's cool seeing them dance along w/ me. Even funner to watch them dance to a fast song.

Plus Emi, Alice, & Yuni are hot.

I love the Dancers in DDR 1-5/DDR Max 2 US - Extreme JP. Ever since SuperNOVA I hate the dancers. Hate their dance moves, their looks, their style, and they don't do that sway they used to do in the beginning of a song. That for some reason was something I loved. Now they sorta bounce.
