i still agree that DDR shold consist of only 10-footers :P.
actually, i think it's fine the way it is. actually I don't.
I think Didder needs to let beginner songs be 1's. all of them. That's the point of beginner, is to be easy right? Lave the higer one up to light and standard, but I also think, that EVERY song should ahve at least one chart that is an 8 or higher. It's definately possible (just look at ITG). They started maing the game too easy, ever since beginner mode came about. The one exception being the DDR SN bosses.

The dancers in Supernova aren't nearly as well implemented as they were in the past. Even back in the day, they at least had a video going with them. Now they just have generic stages. And no one wants to see Emi having a seizure trying to do a routine to Fascination.
Also, every female but Emi looks trashy in Supernova, and not even she got away clean.

Cutie Chaser has the potential for harder charts, easily.
And beginner mode really doesn't help people, or at least not in my limited experience. My little brother first played DDR when he was 7ish, and did terrible, but he at least managed to consistently clear Peace Out light, Stay light, and Spin the Disc light. Then I got EX2, and he started playing beginner mode, and lost the ability to clear those songs. Coincidence? Maybe, but I doubt it. | |
