I just purchased DDR Universe 3 for Xbox 360, and the pad that it came with is not very good. Like other soft pads it is very thin and moves around a lot. I would much rather use my Afterburner metal pad, but it is not compatible to the 360.
So I am trying to think of a way to mod this pad to make it more long lasting than the soft pads I had before I bought a metal one.
I found this website that has brief instructions about how to go about making it but it doesn't go into detail at all
? Halo 3 Dance Dance Revolution Hard Wood Dance Surface for Xbox 360 Sunday 22nd of March 2009
(ignore the halo 3 design lol >___<)
from their description it sounds like you use two planks of wood and sandwich the ddr pad in the middle...but that doesn't make much sense to me because then how are the sensors going to register the arrows....and they do not go into any detail about cutting out spots for the arrows to go...
So basically i am wondering if anyone knows of any good tutorials on how to make a hardwood DDR pad using the existing soft pad for the 360
(I have the wood pretty much all the wood that I need i believe and i bought a sheet of Plexiglass. I figure i could use the plexiglass for on top of the arrows to make it more sturdy and also so i can see the arrows that are on the soft pad)
oh and i also saw another tutorial about using package wrap to wrap the pad to a sheet of wood. This seems like it would work pretty well but i would rather do something more like the link i posted
Thanks ^__^
