Default Soft pad, need help.

I recentley decided to start playing DDR (Hardcore) alot more now.. For awhile, I took a break, and I recently played the other day at a machine, and saw that I haven't lost much skill, infact, it seems I have more stamina for some reason, I'm not sure.

Now, I have been reading and replying to peoples posts, and I know personally that RedOctane has gone down the drain, with the release of the 3.0, Afterburner.

I know there are some non well known companys that release soft ignition pads.. And I'm looking for your choice of the best.

If you remember the 2.0 Ignition from RedOctane, I liked the feel of it.. I played on other ignitions, and the top part was like rubber, you could see your reflection in it! The 2.0 had a nice top material ( Not sure what exactly it was )

I'm looking for another pad company that has that same material, and has a very good set of sensors, and won't die on me after a month's worth of playing Heavy 9 and 10 footer songs. I heard that some people mod some of the flat mats. Everyone said Konami pads are the best to use in that occasion, but, I don't know where to go to buy just a single konami pad, I had one when I bought my DDRmax2 bundle, but that thing is long forgotten.

Please help me if you know anything about the SoftPad problem, or if you know where to buy cheap Metal Pads with low shipping and handling in the U.S.

Thanks!

Default

I've personally have never used an Ignition but I know the BNS-DX is very similar based on other peoples testimony. I've had it for about a year and it still works good as new.

(god I feel like a broken record with this pad)

as for metal pads, the only one which is any good and the cheapest is a Cobalt. I've actually heard of similar pad at 400 but not much on its actually performance(I think it was blue shark or something). I have heard nothing but bad things for afterburner metal pads(or any other).
