SuperNOVA worth buying?

Well, I'm sure you all saw the let-Down with DDR Extreme, US Version..

I had played Extreme and alot of the songs through StepMania and Japanese Style arcade machines.....

I had bought Extreme when it came out and was absolutely DISGUSTED with it.. The Stage selection menu, the "Character" bullshit, the options, the whole way of the game.. the little "Party" mod.. It's getting to 7 year old. ( Not saying young DDR players are lame, its just.... you know ) Anyways..

I was hoping someone had seen SuperNOVA.
Is the game set up the way the DDRMAX series and all the original mixes were, and the Japanese Extreme style?

It's set up like the arcade version of DDR SuperNOVA, if that's what you're asking.

And one other question: when the product is not OUT, how the hell are we supposed to know if it's worth buying? Songlists are tenative, and all we really have is "it's Extreme 2 with the NOVA interface".

Well, Konami finally doesn't have to try and "specialize" the songlist and interface for the US, because this will be the first TRUE US console release that is based off of an arcade version.

It's pretty much given that the interface will stay. The modes and extras will probably be like Ex2, with an improvement and twist here and there.

I hope for the songlist they will finally make it like the Japan CS releases and give us all the new Dancemania licenses and Konami Originals.

If you love really good 7-9's, Supernova is worth your buck.

If you're looking for fun new 10's though, pass it up for Extreme or ITG2.
