Total Tokens: 5,889.91 Donate Tokens | Timings For DDR Supernova Arcade I know this may have been done before (but I have been looking around for it for hours) but can anyone describe the timing windows for the arcade version of Supernova?
For instance how much time before or after the step does it become a great, not a perfect?
Sorry if this is badly worded but if anyone understands, can you help.
Thanks very much!

mystifiedbulb: these are all rough estimates
marvelous: 12ms
perfect: 30ms
great: 66ms
good: 102ms
boo: 144ms
i'm not 100% sure but it's close to those

in extreme jp the early windows are
FE FF FF FF FB FF FF FF F2 FF FF FF EC FF FF FF E8 FF FF FF
(with FE corresponding to marv, FB to perfect, F2 to great, EC to good, and E8 to boo)
and the late windows are
02 00 00 00 06 00 00 00 0D 00 00 00 13 00 00 00 1B 00 00 00
(with 02 corresponding to marv, 06 to perfect, 0D to great, 13 to good, and 1B to boo)
in the early windows, add 1 (in hex) to all the corresponding bytes except marvelous to get the arcade windows. in the late windows, subtract 2 from all the corresponding windows except marvelous to get the arcade windows. (marvelous has the same window in home and arcade, so it stays the same). this is absolutely proven true.
in supernova2 jp, the early windows are
FE FF FF FF FB FF FF FF F2 FF FF FF EC FF FF FF E9 FF FF FF
(with FE corresponding to marv, FB to perfect, F2 to great, EC to good, and E9 to almost -- only the almost window changes)
and the late windows are
02 00 00 00 06 00 00 00 0D 00 00 00 13 00 00 00 1C 00 00 00
(with 02 corresponding to marv, 06 to perfect, 0D to great, 13 to good, and 1C to almost -- once again only almost changes)
so, if the same is true for sn2 where you can add 1 to the early and subtract 2 from the late, ONLY the almost/boo window changes, and otherwise sn2 (and iirc, sn1 -- i just didn't have the game handy) and extreme have the same windows. unfortunately, this cannot be proven completely true at the moment because any files containing timing windows on sn1 ac (and most likely sn2 ac) are encrypted.
