The Triad: X, Hottest Party 2, and Universe 3

Wow. Afro is now dancing in an old marching band uniform and has let his hair go, while Emi is ready for the prom. All well and good, but I wanna know what Zukin and Baby-Lon are wearing.

I like the subtler colors of the stages. Sometimes the neon of the Supernovas could interfere with the arrows.

The biggie for me is the song list. Does the presence of "Poseidon" mean that we're going to get the planetary songs this time? What other songs, both licenses and old KOs, will we get? That, for me, is the meat of the game. The backgrounds, dancers, interface etc is just packaging.

The new stages for DDR X are gorgeous. Someone went out of the way to actually make real backgrounds instead of floating cubes in space.

Also - love Emi's new outfit. It's very "Hime Gyaru". And I think Konami showed Poseidon on purpose to go "YES, HERE ARE YOUR PLANET SONGS. WE FUCKED UP LAST TIME."

Hottest Party 2 hopefully will be just as good as the original, but I'm at least hoping for speed mods (please!)

Universe 3...the interface is gorgeous even though it vomits bright colors everywhere and I'm excited they threw the lyrics feature in from 3rd Mix. I hope they drop Senses from the final build, that song needs to go away. But at least Less Than Three is on there!

So is DDRX gonna be an AC port or another "Look, me f'd up w/ our last release, so here's more songs from the last AC, plus great new songs & revivals", like EX2?

I wish, but I think konami does it intentionally. Instead of making just an arcade perfect SN2, they make two games each with half the songs. Ex2 was great, but I dont want to get my hopes up.

Great, first Konami takes away BGs from SN, now they take away banners from Universe3? How long will it be before they go IIDX and scrap graphics altogether?

Just another EX2 isn't very spectacular for the 10th anniversary... There should be plenty more new songs and IIDX/BMUS crossovers that would be released in the next AC release (along with new songs from that release)

It'd be a pretty good crossover , but I havea feeling they're gonna put A~shonen~ on DDR since they already have A and AA.

I think it's time for Übertreffen and that other GF/DM song to come out.

Hopefully they go SN2-style and keep the crossovers at a minimum. Crossovers are fine, but I would like songs that are actually new in my games.
