Fans will flock to the new songs by the same artist before anything else.

I DO NOT want DDR to turn into a bunch of charts that either were 12s on ITG or were made by some little coke-head that thinks 32nd streams are appropriate for any song. However, having played through the majority of the older mixes, I remember back in the day when 8's and 9's were actually fun AND not filled with repetitious patterns (Furuhata's Theme, Lupin the 3rd, Waka Laka, Witch Doctor, Drifting Away). I get that there are people who want to do their super-cool freestyle routines to a chart with 7 arrows in 1:30, but Konami should realize that there are others who actually think there should be a balance (not Forever Sunshine heavy, not FELM oni, but somewhere closer to the charts mentioned above).

Even if the songs makes it fun, the stepcharts are atrocious.
