I know, but those songs are just as good and they have the same upbeat sound. Lol, Tutie Thaser.

That's because Daikenkai has been an extremely popular pick for years. Fans will flock to the new songs by the same artist before anything else.

I didn't mind any of the songs, but Think Ya Better D and Funk Boogie needed better charts. Hysteria remix had better steps too, but both needed 12th notes.

If by harder, you mean more than just fourth notes for the majority of the song, then yes.

I DO NOT want DDR to turn into a bunch of charts that either were 12s on ITG or were made by some little coke-head that thinks 32nd streams are appropriate for any song. However, having played through the majority of the older mixes, I remember back in the day when 8's and 9's were actually fun AND not filled with repetitious patterns (Furuhata's Theme, Lupin the 3rd, Waka Laka, Witch Doctor, Drifting Away). I get that there are people who want to do their super-cool freestyle routines to a chart with 7 arrows in 1:30, but Konami should realize that there are others who actually think there should be a balance (not Forever Sunshine heavy, not FELM oni, but somewhere closer to the charts mentioned above).

What about Sunkiss Drop Heavy or Arrabbiata? Even if the songs makes it fun, the stepcharts are atrocious.

I think DDR just needs to sprinkle in more stepcharts like Electrified and Saturn. Fun, but not Arrabbiata "fun".
