It wouldn't be so bad of a comparison if Bloody Tears didnt have such a lame stepchart. CaptivAte is a very good song and steps that go well with the melody, like playing a piano with my feet lol

So from what I'm hearing CaptivAte is a little tough but not really? I'm heading out to my local arcade today. Regarless I'm gonna try it out cause I like the song. Hope I don't mess up to to bad though lol.

I didn't find it too hard, though if i'm remembering the right song, the gallops at the end may come to a surprise depending on how well you play and read. Of course I play 1x always, so maybe if you use mods you'll see and do them better., but the entire song isn't that hard on a player. Definitely nice though.

Well I found out how CaptivAte was. Tiring lol but then again I like played 3 songs before that so I was already tired and sweaty before eww. I got like a B on it I believe. All in all it was fun. And I could not get all those steps in the end.

I remember when I first was able to do World Tour Course in DDR Extreme. It felt great, especially when i had no lives left, the one silent part of the music in Matsuri Japan before the final runs, I took a deep breath and put whatever energy I had left into it, as i could not fail by this point lol

I haven't done many Oni courses lately though, by body would probably crap out by the end. I doubt i could do World Tour again if i tried it today >< Maybe i'll try some next time.

As long as its fun, you'll come back to it later. We really need more good stepcharts in DDR, and not disappointments like Bloody Tears (though i like the song enough to do it anyway)

Yea knowing me I will keep going back to it. Your right about Bloody Tears being a good song. Always gives me goosebumps in a good way while I play or listen to it, though I can't tell the difference of a good step chart or not. I play the songs cause I like the music regardless how easy or hard they are. I just try my best even though I look horrible sometimes lol.

Bloody Tears expert is just okay (easy stepchart and it's kinda neat music-wise)

Though in my place, it's definitely overplayed to death (as a song on SN2).

Just my two cents

P.S.
Oh and Poseidon expert is still awesome hehe

Hopefully when i go to D&B in Time Square, someone have put in the lvl 5 code in already. The code may seem easy, I just hope I can get it right!
I can't wait to try Poseidon out!

Yea I agree only thing is that I always seem to mess up in the somewhat beginning and ending parts where it wants you to do the double steps and then one or a couple of single steps lol I can't remember and jump right back into the double steps quickly. (sorry I can't tell like the steps apart from numbers) I will be lucky enough if I can step right.

Yea I enjoy playing Poseidon as well. The tune it has just does something to you that makes you like it. Well at least me lol.

After playing it at least 5 times, you'd get the hang of it.

Also

One suggestion was to continue stomping during the freeze part.

It definitely works

Yup

In fact

Doing such helps in that you won't lose your beat or timing after the pause.

All you need is a four beat count

Indeed it really works (so much so that it made me FC the song two times now)

Okay I was just making sure cause my other comment I wrote was for Bloody Tears. Should have put something in there about it.

Anyways yea I haven't tried that on Poseidon yet. Is it even possible to time the step right by not doing the four beat count? I got really lucky one time (not using the beat count) and got marvelous by luck and was like what the hell? Cool lol.
