Why did Konami revive this song as a license for DDR SuperNova 2 JP?
This song was already in Festival along with US Extreme, so I don't see why it is necessary to revive a license song that isn't all that great. Now if they have Me Against the Music, that would have been way cooler.

It's not really that big a deal that Konami revived Waiting for Tonight and Come Clean. IMO, they were two of the better Konami Covers.
Anyways, they probably used them as filler since they were undoubtedly having a hard time finding a new source of licenses after the whole Dancemania thing fell through. | |

I always though that P.A.T.'s version of Waiting For Tonight sounded horrible musically so I always choose to avoid it when playing Dancing Stage Fusion AC.
That's about all I've seen of it fortunately as thankfully it doesn't seem to have been in any Dancing Stage PS2 CS. | |

I believe their reasoning for using it was because they wanted "popular North American licenses" in SN2, or at least covers of them. | |

Genie in a Bottle was fantastic, but I did like Waiting for Tonight.
As far as why the revived it, Its probably because it was a a new liscence to the AC SN2, and they wanted to get as many as they could.
