Weird things in DDR? Discuss...

Well, this thread is to discuss/comment/whatever about weird or strange things that you know/have seen in DDR...

For example: While ripping images from DDR 5th Mix with Saxxonpike's Compressed TIM Finder I found this image:

Could anyone tell me on which instance is shown that pic? Or, at least could someone translate the artist?

Once when I was playing on an Extreme the wierdest thing I have ever seen in DDR happened. I got up there and picked Healing Vision and the song starts. I immediently notice that the arrows are flashing alot faster than they should be, then I realised what was about to happen and i was like "oh shit". The cluster of 16ths came up at 196 BPM, and I was desperatly flailing around trying to hit them all. (The arrows were spaced at 1x but scrolling at 2x and the music was playing at 1x) Then once it got to the speedup the scroll speed jumped to 382 and I failed out at this point due to the 382 BPM 8th clusters. Anyway im sure this is an isolated insident as I have never seen it happen EVER after this one time.

PS: No, this was not a Extreme plus, Extreme Megamix, etc. This was plain old vannila Extreme.

It's really odd to see what happens when music games glitch.

I remember I was playing Extreme 2 on PS2. I forgot what song. But I was playing and the arrows stopped for a second, but the song kept going. Then the arrows went offsync. ... THen after a bit, the video totally glitched out, went to the blue clear scree WHILE the song and arrows were in play, then it reset itself back to the warning screen. After that I took it out and cleaned it.

Stupid details:

- DDR Str!ke: DoLL appears with a BPM of 150, when it really goes at 170 BPM
- DDRMAX2 AC: Living in America, by... John Desire?? xD
- DDRSN (all CS versions, dunno about AC): if you play in Event Mode and fail any "hidden BPM" song, upon returning to the song selection screen you will see for a very short time that song's max BPM :P

The last jump freeze on Burning heat on DDREx Plus! never registers.

In DDREx oni mode if you change a course to the next one, then hit the select button quick enough you'll play the oni course with the song difficulties of the previous course.

I Played senorita (speedy mix) on Extreme and hit everysingle note one heavy. AA but no extra stage on last stage?!?!?!?

One time, I was playing Stepmania and I AAAed Hysteria 2001 and it showed a AAA and all perfects and all o.k's but my score wasn't 70000000.

I was playing Max 300 on 1.5x, solo and when the game started it gave me stealth. Major fail. I don't know if this is in the right forum but I was also playing ITG and I got the same affect on Visible Noise, except that time it was hide targets along with stealth.

when I ever I pop in my EXTREME game (US), it never shos any quarter notes/arrows, its only the constant BPM arrow, and I cant fix this threw the menu either.

When I played my friends ULTRAMIX 3 at his house, all of the suddent the arrows froze, and the song kept going, shortly after the song kept repeating from where it froze. We were laughing pretty hard the first minute, but then it got old VERY fast.

one time I put in DDR EXTREME (japan), and it gave me the loading screen. It never loaded, and I took out the disc expecting the worse, but it was fine, and after cleaning the disc it worked, the game just frooze after loading it seemes.

thats all I got.

The Xbox is, unfortunately, not very tolerable of vibration. You have to keep a distance away from it or it will be unable to stream the steps and music properly. This happened to me in Ultramix 2, 3, and 4.

About the picture I put in the 1st post, according with a friend, in the artist's name it says something that can be translated to "Empty song" xD.
As a guess, it was probably a placeholder of what could have been Petit Love.
