Default What do you think a 20 in DDR X will be like?

With existing songs only going up to 18(FELM oni), What do you think a 20 on DDR X will be like? An ITG 13? FELM oni with shock arrows? This?

Well if a 19 is already harder than Dead end GRS then it means a bs chart or a chart just rated 19/20 as part of the final boss ES/OMES in DDR X to look intimidating when really it'll be comparable in difficulty to something like PR Oni (not saying that's easy, just saying it wont be much harder, IF harder than that).

I think Konami is gonna go with the latter but who knows...

Or Konami can surprise us all and actually come out with good charts for 20s, like ITG Rebirth's 14s (Chromatic Blitz Singles Expert, ReaF Doubles Expert)

FELM oni is easily harder than 2 of 3 ITG 13s so we've gotta think above and beyond to wonder what a 20 on DDR X will look like :x

Or whatever it is, well......it could probably just be a song that maximizes ALL the attributes of the Groove Radar. Granted, it will just be more retarded than those groove radar specials.

Nevertheless, Konami has no choice. Otherwise, those expert players in Japan (and elsewhere) would just probably retire if they don't see anymore challenge.

Who knows for sure though as to what Konami is planning up their sleeves for this...

It'll start off being as hard as the SN1 Bosses, but if you miss an arrow, a compartment will open in the machine and launch a hammer at your nuts. The challenge will be clearing the song despite your ball injuries.

I don't think so. I've A'ed FELM Oni (on an ignition pad, yes, but still A'ed it nonetheless) and I have yet to pass a 12 on ITG.

I'm almost sure if Konami made charts that either drained you or were slightly above the average difficult, people would still play.

Yeah.

And for some (or rather many people), passing a 20 is an accomplishment in itself.

For them, they see indeed see it as rewarding.

So there.

doesn't count unless it's arcade :/ and most ITG 12s are about as rough as faxx heavy or pluto relinquish heavy

I recently played ITG and I know now why everyone says i is better..but I still pay DDR cause I can't leave it.

I noticed that the songs in ITG are more towards streams for difficulty why DDR just makes speed changes, stops, and insane BPMs.

That's exactly how I feel.

Anyways, maybe a song like Blue River in Pop'n Music would be a 20 in DDR. Maybe Max. (Period) would be a 20?

LOL!

For me, BPM is around 380 or 400 it would be a shock arrow field within a 8th note run into some jumps and holds which forces you to turn around the pad, then it abruptly slows down to 47.5 or 50 BPM with 64th notes then back to the original BPM then doubled up to 760 or 800 BPM at the end! Sick?
