i was wondering what a twenty footer would look like can some one show me for me and by the way i think 888 on heavy is a 20 but im not sure

I am pretty sure the game only goes to 18, because when you get to a 18, the chart just becomes a retarded mash-up of steps, and thats as high as it has gotten.

Also 888 is not a 20, its probably a 15 or 16, its not that hard, its just requires you to hit many arrows, and a pretty fast speed in a short period of time, and the chart is not very hard. I have full combo'd it before on in the groove, and got a decent score on it.

I will be quite interesting if they go beyond (lol benami pun) the 18 foot mark. Theres still many X-Specials yet to be revealed, so who knows.

Being Konami, i'm sure they'll be retarded as hell.

Hopefully it'll be either
1) Something simple like ITG Rebirth's Chromatic Blitz, or even ReaF.
or 2) Something with plenty of BPM changes and stops THAT MAKE SENSE. Kinda like the Nightmare songs from ITG3/Rebirth.

But knowing Konami, I don't see them breaking out anything spectacular. However, I do feel the X boss songs are a step in the right direction stepchart-wise (except the X or SMM specials, those just suck).

888 is definitely an 18 step. trigger and the PM SMM special isnt though

Ive seen you play, thats not true. 888 is crazy hard.

Also, Its hella easier to get better scores on ITG R21's, but even then I wouldnt believe it. Ive seen lots of people flail through ITG 13's that cant pass DDR 10s worth crap.

Steel Needle would be a nice 20.

Well, I just looked up a video of 888 Oni. Wow, that's definitely a 19, but I'm not sure if it would reach the 20 mark.

next time I go I am going to make a video of 888 Expert/Oni, and full combo it. I know for sure that its easier on a ITG2 cab, because of the pads, and timing window though. However I think Pluto Relinquish, and Paranoia Hades are crazy hard, and I cant pass them on the SuperNOVA 2/X machine in Naperville. I think anyone of those should be a 20, but they only hit 18, which is why I think the game only goes to 18 on difficulty.

Me too. I don't even dare to try playing PR in EXP 'coz I easily fail in that. I only do NGO in Challenge which for me should not be an 18 but instead a 16 footer. About the 888 by TECHNORCH, I rated the CHALLENGE steps as 18 footer on StepMania.

While we haven't seen any official 19 or 20 rated stepcharts yet, the ratings DO exist because in DDR X Edit Mode you can give your edit a rating, from 1-20.

no 18. I dont think its even possible to get a AA or full Combo Dead End Groove Radar Special, but I can full combo 888. NGO Oni is undoubtedly the most retarded stepchart ever in the history of DDR (other than DEGRS). That thing's no less than an 18 for sure, at least for me. What's it's official rating?
